The Yashica T4 pairs a fixed Carl Zeiss Tessar T* 35mm f/3.5 lens with autofocus and automatic exposure. It uses 35mm film and a CR123A battery. With one fixed angle of view rather than a zoom, you change the framing by moving your position.

✔ Carl Zeiss T* Tessar 35mm f/3.5 lens – The T4's lens with T* multicoating delivers the sharp, high-contrast, punchy colour rendering the T4 is famous for.

✔ Compact, pocketable body – Weighing just 180g and measuring 116mm x 64mm x 37mm, the T4 slips easily into a jacket pocket or bag for effortless everyday carry.

✔ Fast, quiet autofocus – A 3-point active infrared autofocus system locks on in around half a second, so you can shoot spontaneously without missing the moment.

✔ Fully automatic exposure – A stepless programmed shutter (1 sec–1/700s, EV 3.5–17) reads light automatically, with DX-coded film speed detection from ISO 50–3200.

✔ Built-in flash with multiple modes – Daylight fill-flash, night mode and infinity lock give you flexibility across a range of lighting conditions.

✔ Main switch and lens cover – Sliding the main switch turns the camera on, opens the lens cover and extends the lens. Switching it off retracts the lens and closes the cover.

The Yashica T4 earned its cult status the honest way - a genuinely excellent Zeiss lens in a camera small enough to carry everywhere. Whether you're chasing that famous "T4 look" for street and travel photography, or simply want a reliable, high-quality point-and-shoot for everyday film shooting, the T4 delivers.

Grade: We grade every camera carefully so you can shop with confidence, knowing exactly what you’ll receive. Each one is thoroughly tested to ensure it works as intended, and our grading scale helps you understand the overall condition and any minor imperfections that distinguish it from a like-new example.

Grade 10 – Near Perfect: Near-perfect, minimal to no wear, flawless functions, crystal-clear lens.
Grade 9 – Excellent: Lightly used, faint scuffs, fully functional, clean lens.
Grade 8 – Great: Normal signs of use, minor surface marks, fully functional.
Grade 7 – Good: Well-loved with visible wear or small quirks, but everything works as it should.
Grade 6 – Fair: Heavier wear and noticeable imperfections. It may also have minor functional quirks or imperfections, but it is fully functional and full of character.
