I've finished my first roll of 35mm film! Where can I get my film developed?

You finished your first roll of film! Congratulations! Now, what do you do next? Well, you'll need to get your film developed at a film processing lab.

Firstly, make sure that your film has been rewound back into the film canister. The last thing you want to do is open your film chamber and expose your film to light, damaging and destroying your precious photos. To ensure that the film has gone back into the roll, please make sure that you can't take any more photos.

Search for a film processing lab nearby that can develop and scan your film for you! If there isn't a film lab nearby you, some offer 'Mail-In Orders', in which you can post your film to their lab and they will process and develop your film.

You can find local film processing labs here: Film Processing Labs

How do I get my film photos onto my phone?

When you send your film roll/s off for film processing, typically, film labs will offer to develop and scan your film photos and can upload them to an online folder for you. Please note that this service may incur an additional charge depending on the film lab you use.

Film Camera Testing & Quality Control

How do you inspect and test your film cameras?

After carefully sourcing our film cameras, each camera goes through a rigorous inspection and test to ensure that they are in working order.

Upon arrival, each camera will undergo a full internal and external inspection to ensure there is no damage that could hinder its working operations. Any damages will be noted and further examined to ensure correct working operations.

Following this, each camera will be cleaned to prevent any type of contamination or damage from occurring during testing. This includes cleaning the exterior, interior, and lens.

Cameras will then undergo a 'light test', where light is shone through the camera lens and camera ball lens and inspected to ensure that it is free from any debris.

Finally, each camera will undergo an operations examination. Here, a battery and 'dummy film' is inserted and all technical functions will be tested.

If the camera passes the above examinations and tests, the camera will then be prepped and made ready for sale.

Once sold, each camera will be re-tested to ensure correct working operations and ensure nothing was missed during pre-sale inspections.

Do you film test your film cameras?

During our procedure of testing and inspecting, each camera is inserted with 'dummy film' to test its working operations. To keep costs down we do not develop these rolls of film. By doing so we can keep our camera prices as low as possible.

After inspecting, testing, and selling film cameras since 2021, we take great pride in our very low return rates. We are confident in our ability to test and identify any issues before sale.

To alleviate any concerns regarding the overall working condition of our film cameras, we offer a 30-day warranty on all cameras. We recommend that during this period you use your camera and if any issues do arise, please contact our team who will be more than happy to assist!
