Welcome to our Grading Scale for our 35mm Point-and-Shoot Film Cameras!

To help you shop with confidence, we’ve developed a simple, transparent grading scale for all our 35mm point-and-shoot cameras. Every camera is tested and described honestly, so you know exactly what to expect when it arrives.

Grade 10 – Near Perfect

Exceptionally well preserved. Minimal to no cosmetic marks. All functions work flawlessly, and the lens is crystal clear, almost as if it just left the factory.

Grade 9 – Excellent

Beautifully kept with light cosmetic signs of use, such as faint surface marks or minor wear that don’t impact performance. All functions operate perfectly, and the lens remains clean and clear.

Grade 8 – Great

Shows moderate cosmetic wear from regular use, such as small scratches or scuffs, but remains fully functional and reliable. Lens is clean with no haze or fungus.

Grade 7 – Good

Well-used, with more noticeable wear — scratches, small dings, or worn edges. The lens or viewfinder may have minor imperfections, but all core functions still work reliably.

Grade 6 – Fair

Well-used camera that shows significant wear or cosmetic imperfections. May have minor functional quirks or early signs of optical issues (light haze, dust, or slight separation), but remains usable for everyday shooting.
